When we say two to four days of downtime, we mean social downtime: the days you might not want a client meeting. Most people can work from home the next day.
Day by day
Day one looks like a sunburn. Day two, the redness softens and a faint grid can show. By day three or four, most clients are comfortable with makeup again, if their provider agrees.
Why Thursdays
If you choose weekend-only downtime in the planner, it moves sessions to Thursdays so the first two days land on Friday and Saturday.
Everyone heals differently. Your provider gives you aftercare in writing at the visit.
