Replacement
Replace what is wet. Recover what is not.
R-2
What a replacement includes
- 01
Moisture survey and core cuts
So the scope says exactly what comes off and what can stay.
- 02
Tapered insulation and crickets
Designed to move water to every drain, not just meet a minimum.
- 03
Edges, curbs and drains detailed
Drawn on the submittals before a single sheet goes down.
- 04
Daily dry-in
Nothing is left open overnight over a tenant.
- 05
Manufacturer inspection and closeout
Scheduled by us; punch items fixed before the inspector leaves.
04 / Details
The roof is only as good as its edges.
- 01
Most leaks start at an edge, a curb or a drain
The field of the membrane rarely fails first. Where it turns up a wall, wraps a unit or drops into a drain is where we spend the time.
- 02
Drawn before it is built
Edges, curbs and drains are detailed on the bid and the submittals, so the crew, the GC and the manufacturer read the same drawing.
- 03
Water goes somewhere on purpose
Tapered insulation and crickets move water to drains and scuppers; nothing is left to sit.
